Dear Friend In Christ
I would like to inform you of an annual event called “Praise In The Mountains”. This will be the 18th year of Northern California’s largest FREE Christian Concert. A Machaira Ministries Production.
On Spetember 5th, 2009 at the Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley CA. (Approximately one hour drive from the Sacramento Area) 5 Christian bands will be sharing the Gospel through music and speaking. This Non-Denominational event kicks off at 12:00pm and will end around 8:00pm. This event is very family oriented. Activities and musical styles will be pleasing to all ages. The concert atmosphere will be enhanced with bounce houses, food and Christian merchandise. The beautiful amphitheater is surrounded by trees, and conducive to a worship experience. Counselors will be available and an emphasis between groups and songs will be placed in leading people to make a commitment to Jesus Christ.
Our number one goal with this event is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also hope to join churches together in one event and create unity between the different church bodies. While these are most important and serious goals, Praise In The Mountains will also prove to be very entertaining.
It is our prayer that Christians and Christian Congregations will come together in support of this event while encouraging non-believers to attend in hopes of leading them to salvation.
